Petunia (August, 2009)

This summer Laurinda saw an add for a couple of Angora goats in Cape Breton. Having an interest in this type of goat for some time, because of the obvious fiber connection, she called the owners and arranged to "see" them. The day we left was one of the wettest I've encountered in some years. On top of that the "two" Angoras turned out to be THREE. Still we managed to fit them all into the van with Petunia riding shootgun (just kidding - we had dog crates). I must admit they are among the friendliest (and quietest) goats I've seen. We have little on their history, but estimate their age at 3-5+ years. Now we just need a buck...
